Sing B1 works on your device and does not require an account. It is published by Mother Electric LLC, a Wyoming company.
Information we collect
We don't ask you to create an account or sign in. Your song ratings, downloads, learned words and preferences are stored only on your device.
Anonymous usage data (optional)
If you turn on anonymous usage data (on the intro screen or in Settings > Privacy), the app sends anonymous events about how it is used: for example, which screens you open, which songs you start and how long you listen, flashcard results, ratings, downloads, the number of search results (never what you typed), and purchase steps. Each event includes the app version, your phone's operating system and version, and the language you're learning. When you turn it on, the app creates a random ID so we can see how often the app is used over time. It isn't linked to your name, email, device or Apple or Google account, and it is deleted when you turn usage data off. This setting is off unless you turn it on, and you can change it anytime in Settings.
Who processes usage data
Usage data is processed by Aptabase, our analytics provider, on servers in the European Union. Aptabase works out an approximate location (country and region) from your connection's IP address and does not store the IP address. Usage data is kept for up to 5 years and is used only to improve Sing B1, for example to see which songs work best and which language to add next.
Advertising and tracking
Sing B1 has no advertising and no cross-app tracking. We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment card details.
Audio delivery
When you stream or download a song or a preview, the request goes to Cloudflare, our content delivery network. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and the time of the request, and standard server logs may be kept briefly to run and protect the service. We don't use them to identify you.
App updates
So that fixes can reach you without a full app store update, the app checks Expo's update service when it starts. The check includes the app version, your phone's operating system and a random ID created by the update system. It isn't linked to your name, email or app store account.
Children
Sing B1 is suitable for all ages and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version.
